Curro, a long-time player in the U.S. Hispanic market, , holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Wales. He has served as a juror in almost all major advertising festivals.
His iconic commercial “Inmortal” for Energizer was named Adweek’s Commercial of the Year, and three of his campaigns were included in the GUNN Report’s list of the 100 most rewarded ads in the world. Under his leadership, Gallegos United became the 9th most awarded agency in the U.S. Throughout his career, Curro has worked across diverse cities, including Madrid, London, Buenos Aires, and Los Angeles, creating campaigns for renowned brands such as Got Milk?, Absolut, Comcast, JCPenney, Discovery Channel, Energizer, Miller Lite, Tecate, Stella Artois, Mitsubishi, Target, UNICEF’s Tap Project and the Partnership for Drug-Free America, among others. In 2020, o1 Agency, the innovative agency he founded in 2017, gained international recognition for campaigns like the viral “Trump Candle” and was acquired by Gallegos United. Curro was incorporated as Executive Creative Director, where he now leads again iconic campaigns for Got Milk? and continues to shape the agency’s creative vision. He has been recognized at every major advertising festival and, in 2009, was named President of the U.S. Hispanic Creative Circle, further solidifying his impact on the industry.
