Favio moved from Argentina to the United States in 1998 and joined Casanova/McCann as Creative Director. In 2001, he partnered with John Gallegos to start Grupo Gallegos (Gallegos United), which quickly became a leader in creativity in the US Hispanic Market. In 2013, he joined Wing/Grey NY as CCO, embarking on a new adventure in Don Draper’s land. After three successful years in New York, he returned to Los Angeles. Favio’s bi-national career has allowed him to develop a unique creative mind, crafting award-winning campaigns for clients such as P&G, Comcast, Energizer, Target, CMPB (Got milk?), Scotts, Fruit of the Loom, Fox Sports, and the Red Cross of America, among others. His work in the United States has garnered recognition at prestigious events including D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, Effie, Webby, New York Festival, London International Festival, National Addys, FIAP, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and Ad Age Hispanic Awards (three times Best of Show). In 2002, Favio was elected president of the Creative Circle for the Hispanic Market in the U.S.(www.circulocreativo.org). El Ojo de Iberoamérica named him Best Creative Director of the US Hispanic Market in 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2009, and in 2005, he was honored as Creative Director of the Year at the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies Annual Conference. Favio resides in Venice Beach, CA, with his wife Paula and daughter Catalina.
