Patricia Daumas

Patricia’s Bio:
One of Patricia’s proudest accomplishments is the years she spent nurturing the early stages of Círculo Creativo, and fostering its growth.
Twenty-five years ago, while working for the US Hispanic Market, her peers honored her by inviting her to be the Co-founder of Círculo Creativo USA, and later was voted its 4th President.
Her advertising career spans over 30 years. It began in Mexico first as a Copywriter at Alazraki y Asociados and then went on as a Creative Director at several leading agencies managing Blue Chip Clients: Leo Burnett Mexico, Scali McCabe and Sloves, Gibert Publicidad. At that time she co-founded Círculo Creativo de México and served as Vice President.
Some time later, her experience in launching Apple Computers in Mexico motivated her to learn web development with a group of enthousiasts, creating her first websites as early as 1996, including the inaugural US Círculo Creativo website in 1999.
In 1996, Patricia moved to the U.S. to seek new challenges, taking on Creative Director roles at La Agencia de Orci in Los Angeles, Viva Partnership in Miami, López Negrete Communications in Houston, and Headquarters Advertising in San Francisco. She later founded El Taller, a freelance collective, and A la Carte, a modular creative agency for smaller clients.
Patricia’s work has been recognized with numerous awards, including FIAP Gold and Sol de Iberoamérica, Círculo Creativo México, London International Gold Copy, Procter & Gamble’s World Class Copy, World Fest Houston Gold, and Radio Mercury Award, among others.
Patricia has also served as a jury member for numerous creative awards, including the Clios and Addys.
Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia is a certified chocolatier and globe-trotter. As she says, her chocolate business may be small, but it brings joy to many – including her agency clients.
With a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology and a passion for cultural authenticity, Patricia’s work is deeply inspired by her multicultural upbringing in French, Mexican, and U.S. Hispanic American environments. A published author and insatiable storyteller, her writing allways inspired her work in advertising.
