Gaby Puerto

Gaby Puerto, madrid, Spain.
I began as a young assistant at a creative studio of sculptor and designer Dominique Forest while completing my studies in Economics and Information Sciences in Madrid. Then I worked as a senior writer and creative director at ad agencies in Madrid and Barcelona, such as Grey, Saatchi, Casadevall, D’arcy and Bassat Ogilvy.
In those years among other things I had the chance to witness in the front row and even collaborate in what was the creative management of the Barcelona 92 Olympics and the Seville Universal Exhibition of 1992.
In the late 1990s I moved to Los Angeles where I combined film studies with freelance work. Later on, I moved to Ogilvy’s NYC Headquarters to lead their American Express account as VP Regional Creative Director for the Latin America and Caribbean market.
Years later after serving at Ogilvy Miami and working for AMEX, IBM and Kodak I joined the Ornellas agency in Dallas as ECD to start working for Budweisser.
After collaborating with the WPP group in efforts to set up an agency in Madrid, I returned to Omnicom USA as Creative Director in Dieste Inc for nine years in the Dallas and NYC offices.
In 2014, I was hired by UN Women global headquarters to launch the concept of He for She campaign ,The United Nations Global Solidarity Movement For Gender Equality with their good will ambassador Emma Watson and to develop a communications strategy and platform engaging all Latin American outlets.
In 2018 I moved to Geneva Switzerland to work as a Creative Strategist and Comunication consultant for UNAIDS and later on for the WHO (and yes, I was there when Covid 19 started).
In WHO Geneva in 2021 I had the priviledge to work for the high level task force United Nations Secretary-General’s Independent Accountability Panel (ICPD) for Women, Children and Adolescent Health.
In recent years under Adnostics umbrella I have had the opportunity to collaborate and lead communication projects for Saffron London, Canal Plus France, The Conquistadors, W+K New York, booking.com and others.
Currently working from Adnostics offices in Madrid in a book and a film project called Phombies.
