Daniela Varela is a people-first creative who helps build meaningful brands through storytelling. With more than 12 years of international experience under her belt, she has worked for Industry Giants both in consumer and in Healthcare across regions and languages. Her goal every day is to work alongside her team to push the bounds of creativity to create work that breaks industry standards, ignites conversations, pushes for authentic representation of the Latino community in the US and shifts the world for the better.
Passionate about people, Dani specializes in building projects from the ground up, fostering healthy and fun environments for people and brands to thrive.
Dani has worked for brands like Google, Coca-Cola, Unilever, LVMH, Moderna, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Regeneron, Merck, Cytokinetics, and AstraZeneca.
She was chosen as 1 of 16 top female creative leaders to participate in the 2023 Cannes Lions See It Be It Program and she is one of the Regional Co-Leads at El Círculo Creativo US. Prior to Lisbon Awards, she has been a member of other prestigious juries such as The NYFA, The ADC, The One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Dubai Lynx, and WINA. Her work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, Campaign Asia, Effie Awards, Cámara de Anunciantes del Uruguay and has been featured in Ads of the World, Google I/O, The New York Times, LatinSpots, AdWeek, Advertising Age, Campaign Asia and AdLatina.
